Central Texas College (CTC) is a public community college established in 1965 and located in Killeen, Texas, adjacent to Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood), one of the largest U.S. military installations in the world. CTC opened to students in 1967 and has grown into a uniquely mission-driven institution, providing education and training to active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families at locations worldwide in addition to its main Killeen campus. The college enrolls approximately 14,800 students across associate degree and certificate programs in business, technology, healthcare, liberal arts, and military science. CTC's affordable tuition, flexible scheduling, and deep integration with the military community make it a vital educational resource for service members and civilians throughout Central Texas and beyond.
