“A faith-integrated Christian college in Conway, Arkansas, shaping servant leaders through rigorous academics and community.”
Central Baptist College (CBC) is a private, faith-centered institution in Conway, Arkansas, affiliated with the Baptist Missionary Association of America. Founded in 1952, CBC blends rigorous academic preparation with a distinctly Christian worldview, offering both associate and bachelor's degree programs across four academic divisions: Professional Studies, Natural and Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts (including Bible Studies), and Nontraditional Programs. The college serves approximately 547 traditional undergraduates on its Conway campus, with additional nontraditional students through its PACE adult learning program and online offerings at a satellite campus at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock. Conway, known as the City of Colleges, is home to three colleges within a few miles of each other and offers a welcoming, affordable mid-Southern community about 30 minutes north of Little Rock, the Arkansas state capital. CBC students benefit from small class sizes and direct faculty mentorship in a community where faith, scholarship, and service reinforce each other. The college's athletic teams, the Mustangs, compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). With 42 baccalaureate degree programs and a strong emphasis on student success and affordability, CBC offers an accessible path to a bachelor's degree rooted in Christian values. Popular majors include Psychology, Biblical Studies, Kinesiology and Exercise Science, and Organizational Behavior Studies. The college's BMA Promise scholarship, along with more than 50 endowed institutional scholarships, helps make attendance affordable for students across the region and from as far as Central America.
