Quinsigamond Community College (QCC) is a public community college located in Worcester, Massachusetts, and one of 15 community colleges in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts system. Founded in 1963, QCC enrolls approximately 7,000 students and offers more than 70 associate degree and certificate programs in business, health sciences, technology, liberal arts, and human services. The college's distinctive Wyvern mascot—a mythical winged dragon that served as the protector of Worcestershire, the English city that inspired Worcester's name—reflects QCC's deep roots in the local community. Beginning in fall 2024, QCC became tuition-free for Massachusetts residents without a prior college degree under the MassEducate program, further expanding access to higher education in the region.
