Edmonds College is a public 2-year community college located in Lynnwood, Washington, approximately 15 miles north of Seattle in Snohomish County. Founded in 1967, the college serves approximately 7,500 students per quarter, offering associate degrees, professional certificates, and workforce training aligned to the regional economy of the greater Seattle area. Edmonds College is consistently recognized as one of the most internationally diverse community colleges in the state of Washington, with approximately 590 international students from over 65 countries attending each quarter. The college operates as part of the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) system and has strong articulation agreements for transfer to the University of Washington, Washington State University, and other state universities. Edmonds is known for its English Language Institute (ELI), dedicated International Programs office, and robust support services for first-generation and immigrant students. The Lynnwood campus features modern facilities including a health sciences complex, library and learning center, and student union. The college recently underwent a rebranding from Edmonds Community College to Edmonds College in 2020 to better reflect its evolving role as a full-service college offering bachelor's completion pathways in partnership with 4-year institutions. The college's Triton mascot reflects the Pacific Northwest's maritime identity, and its brand palette draws from the natural blues and greens of Puget Sound.
