The University of Michigan-Dearborn (UM-Dearborn) is a public university and a campus of the University of Michigan system, located in Dearborn, Michigan, adjacent to the headquarters of Ford Motor Company. Founded in 1959 on land donated by the Ford Motor Company, UM-Dearborn enrolls approximately 8,100 students across undergraduate and graduate programs in arts, sciences, and letters; business; education, health, and human services; and engineering and computer science.
