“Integrating faith and learning on one of America's most breathtaking campuses.”
Toccoa Falls College is a private, accredited Christian liberal arts institution located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Toccoa Falls, Georgia. Founded in 1907 by Dr. Richard Allan Forrest, TFC occupies a stunning 1,100-acre campus that includes the iconic Toccoa Falls — one of the tallest free-falling waterfalls east of the Mississippi River at 186 feet, situated right on campus grounds. This extraordinary natural setting defines the campus character and draws students who seek an immersive, community-driven residential experience grounded in Christian faith. With a total enrollment of approximately 3,067 students, TFC offers more than 55 degree programs through five schools: the School of Arts & Sciences, the School of Christian Ministries, the School of Professional Studies, the Fetterman School of Nursing, and the Chapman School of Graduate Studies. Academic programs at Toccoa Falls are infused with a distinctly biblical worldview, preparing graduates for careers while also forming them as people of faith and character. The most popular programs include Counseling Psychology, Bible and Biblical Studies, Business Administration, Communication Studies, Nursing, and Youth Ministry. The college maintains a student-faculty ratio of 18:1, and more than 66% of classes enroll fewer than 20 students, ensuring personalized instruction and meaningful mentoring relationships. All residential students complete coursework in Spiritual Formation alongside their academic studies, and TFC emphasizes the integration of faith and learning across every discipline in its curriculum. Campus life at Toccoa Falls is richly community-oriented, with 55% of students living on campus and a full calendar of chapels, mission trips, athletic events, and cultural activities. The Screaming Eagles compete in the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA) in soccer, basketball, baseball, and volleyball. TFC warmly welcomes students from more than 32 countries around the world, and offers merit scholarships of $3,000 to $12,000 per year for qualifying international applicants. The campus is located near the Chattahoochee National Forest and within two hours of Atlanta, providing access to natural beauty and major city resources alike.
