Kansas City University (KCU) is a private medical school founded in 1916 as one of the original osteopathic medical schools in the United States. Its Farber-McIntire campus in Joplin, Missouri opened in 2017, and the university is developing a College of Dental Medicine there. KCU consists of a College of Osteopathic Medicine and a College of Biosciences and is one of the largest medical schools in the nation by enrollment.
