“Training servant-leaders for life in ministry since 1957, rooted in Scripture and community on a 40-acre Missouri campus.”
Central Christian College of the Bible (CCCB) is a private Christian liberal arts college located in Moberly, Missouri, affiliated with the Christian Church and Churches of Christ (Restoration Movement). Founded in 1957, CCCB is dedicated to equipping students with a thorough knowledge of the Bible and practical ministry skills for service in local churches and parachurch organizations around the world. Accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), the college maintains a distinctive mission of integrating Biblical instruction with real-world ministry training, producing graduates who go on to serve as pastors, missionaries, youth ministers, counselors, and Christian educators. CCCB offers bachelor's and associate's degrees in a range of ministry-focused disciplines including Bible and Theology, Christian Counseling, General Ministries, NextGen Ministry (Youth), Preaching, and Christian Education. In 2020, the college launched a graduate program — the Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership — for professionals seeking to deepen their theological formation and leadership skills. Through a partnership with Moberly Area Community College (MACC), students can also pursue non-ministry degrees in fields such as Accounting, Criminal Justice, and Mechatronics. CCCB's 40-acre campus in southeastern Moberly features three residence halls, a gymnasium, student center, cafeteria, library, and the Walton Student Center with a coffee house (The Harvest House), prayer room, and fitness area. With an enrollment of approximately 211 students, CCCB offers a close-knit, faith-centered community where students are personally known by faculty and staff. The college prioritizes Christian character development alongside academic rigor, with regular chapel services, small group Bible studies, and ministry outreach forming the rhythms of daily campus life. Financial accessibility is a hallmark of the institution — 95% of students receive financial aid — and special scholarships like the GoYe International/Refugee Student Fund are available for international applicants. Graduates primarily enter ministry roles, with alumni serving in congregations, mission fields, schools, and social service organizations across the United States and around the world.
