Alderson Broaddus University (AB) was a private Baptist university in Philippi, West Virginia, founded in 1871 and historically affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA. It was the first college in West Virginia to offer a four-year degree in nursing and the first in the country to offer a four-year physician assistant degree. The university suspended operations in 2023.
